the hardest thing for me to understand about this entire eventful day...is the weather... this supposed bitter weather they talk of in washington and the images that appear on all the tv screens....and the sunshine day out my window, near summer temperatures on a january inauguration day in california.. and i'm on my way out to enjoy it, sunglasses and flip flops, ready to take it all in. lots more to write about when i get back!
